Terms of Service

1. The service

Subpulse helps you track subscriptions, detect them from a bank statement you upload, and reminds you before renewals via Telegram and email. Subpulse is currently in open beta - features may change, and detection isn't always perfect. Always double-check reminders against your actual bank charges.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Subpulse. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Subpulse.

3. Beta status and free access

While Subpulse is in beta, all features are free. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we'll notify existing users in advance, and current beta users will get a discount, as described on our pricing page.

4. Uploaded bank statements

You may upload a PDF bank statement so we can detect subscriptions in it. You confirm you have the right to upload that file - for example, it's your own statement, or you're authorized to use it. We process the file to extract subscription data and do not store the file itself; see our Privacy Policy for details. Subpulse is a convenience tool: it does not access your bank account, and it cannot guarantee it will find every subscription or that detected amounts are exact.

5. Telegram reminders

If you connect Telegram, we'll send you reminder messages about upcoming charges. Reminders are sent on a best-effort basis and are not a substitute for checking your bank statements directly. We are not liable for a missed or delayed reminder.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Subpulse for any unlawful purpose
• attempt to access another user's data or bypass security controls
• upload files you don't have the right to use
• abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service

7. Intellectual property

Subpulse and its branding are owned by us. Your subscription data belongs to you - we don't claim ownership of the content you enter or upload.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

Subpulse is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-detected subscriptions will always be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Subpulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed reminders or inaccurate subscription detection. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months - currently $0, as the service is free during beta.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Subpulse is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights.
